
Linear bipolar output AC/DC power supply for low-noise and high-precision instrumentation.
The PS1215 by CAEN ELS is a single-output, dual-voltage (+/- 15 V) mixed switching-linear power supply that is designed in order to obtain low-noise operation and high efficiency and it is especially suited for DCCT measurement systems where switching power supplies could corrupt measuring noise, accuracy and precision.
The power supply is housed in a robust and compact stainless steel box that can be placed next to the supplied device in order to reduce cable lengths and minimize consequent possible noise pick-up.
Typical noise levels of 0.001 % are present on both outputs in order to supply the high precision current transducers (or other precise electronic instrumentation) with very clean DC power.

"Y" Cables available for both current output and voltage output current transducers of the 0-FLUCS series
Two different types of cables are commercially available to guarantee optimal performance and quick connection to the current transducers of the 0-FLUCS precision series.
The "I" version is designed to be used with the standard current-output current transducers while the "V" version for the voltage-output ones.
A BNC termination is provided with the PS1215V model and a three-banana plugs termination with the PS1215I version.

All the above cited devices, combined with a PS1215 low-noise voltage power supply, guarantee their rated specifications. The maximum output power for the PS1215 is rated at 27 W with derating curves under a certain threshold of the AC mains input voltage.
