Overview
The COTS solution for inverting output polarity of power converters!
The Polarity Inverters of this series allows easy interfacing to CAEN ELS monopolar power supplies (e.g. NGPS) with different current ratings – i.e. 200 A, 420 A, 630 A and 1.000 A.
These inverters are supplied from an auxiliary AC input (100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz) and they are the perfect fit when inverting the output polarity is requested, as for some specific applications – e.g. degaussing a magnet.
Polarity Inverters with different current ratings (up to 1.000 A) allow switching polarity on standard power converters.
Interlock and “Enabling” signals for a safe switch are present and accept signals up to 240 V @ 16 A and 10 A respectively. This polarity inversion switch is suitable to any commercial power supply unit with maximum output ratings of 1.000 A @ 250 V (250 kW).
The mechanical dimensions range from a standard 19″-6U to a 19″-10U crate for the 200-, 420-, 630-A and the 1.000-A versions respectively.
